An exhibition along the aisles.
Saint-Sulpice Céramique is also a scenography that punctuates the path of visitors and offers additional exhibition spaces to discover the work of the 110 French and foreign ceramists present on the square.
For these spaces, the ParisPotier organizing team proposes to the ceramists to work on a common theme which changes each year : Double instant – the transmission, Our Gardens, A world in our plates, Gesture(s), Portraits of clay, DO NOT TOUCH !, Otherness or Hut for the 2026 edition.
A hut is a place where the interior meets the exterior.
A makeshift shelter or a wild construction, fragile and solid at the same time, a hut protects without isolating.
It supports sleep and enlivens wakefulness.
The hut, whether simple or sophisticated, takes us back to the childhood of humanity, to ancient times of outdoor living where shelter blended with nature without ever opposing it.
